Excerpt- The Time of The End (Martin Cecil)

Dearest Friends,

With the endless drumbeat on Television , books and magazines regarding '2012', 'The Nostradamus Effect' and 'Life After Man', I must publish something which carries the true Tone, before certain 'innocent ones' are seduced by 'the fear driven nonsense' which sells media.

Let's look at the so-called - "end time" squarely and honestly and in doing so, "let not our hearts be troubled, neither be afraid."

" The truth is true and All is well, unconquerable Life prevails!", no matter how 'things' may look in the outer world, to the 'outer mind'.

                 Namaste and Peace,

                    Hold Steady-

And let Life's Agenda come on through.

               With love always,

An Excerpt from:

                          THE TIME OF THE END

Martin Cecil,

In speaking of the last days, our Master illustrated the state of affairs which would be by referring to the days of Noah before the flood. As in the days of Noah "they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage," so should it be at the time of the end. In other words human beings would be preoccupied with their usual affairs, having very little awareness of what was actually transpiring. We might take a moment to remind ourselves of what was recorded with respect to the time of Noah, for instance in the 5th verse of the 6th chapter of Genesis:

"And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually."

A little further on, in the 11th and 12th verses:

"The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.

"And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth."

This paints a rather graphic picture, portraying the state of affairs. It might have been written in the twentieth century .

"The earth was filled with violence." Why? Because "all flesh had corrupted his way." Here there is very specific indication of where human identity would be centered. Of course the flesh has no power to corrupt His way without the cooperation of the mind and the emotions. So we have human beings involved in the state of corruption, the result of which appears as violence. Seeing this, there have been those who have been concerned with that result and have instituted programs of what has been called nonviolence. There are a variety of human opinions [in this regard (.ed)]

We should not be interested in human opinions. Our concern is to be in agreement with what is right. It matters little as to the individual; our concern properly is with respect to what is right appearing through any person.

God is not willing that any should perish. However, if such an occurrence transpires, possibly the situation may be used to advantage, and our concern is that all things should be caused to work together to perfection in the fulfilment of divine purpose--the divine purpose, which would include the salvation of man.  This country is a focus of all people, of every race and color. (Whatever that) can cause people to stop and look, recognizing how emotions out from under control bring destruction, then perchance there might be a greater openness to receive divine control when it is offered.

The earth is full of violence because all flesh has corrupted His way. Many good people, seeing this, seek to correct the situation by nonviolence. However, again we see that this is merely manipulating effects and not really considering causes at all. Violence is used by human beings in many ways to achieve their ends. Usually the use of violence is undertaken to accomplish what they would call "good" ends. And how about non-violence? This is a method, presumably, of achieving good ends; but if nonviolence is used as a weapon to achieve these ends, it becomes indistinguishable from violence. Human beings trying to achieve their ends actually do just that, don't they? The end comes! And we see the end coming for the world as a whole. But wherever human beings do attempt to achieve their own ends violence results: regardless of whether those attempts are considered to be violent or nonviolent, violence results, destructiveness results. There is only one foundation for true constructiveness, and that is divine action-- divine action, which permits the achievement of divine purposes.

Human beings--flesh attempting to accomplish fleshly purposes--produce destruction. It doesn't matter how morally justified those efforts may seem to be. It is well that there should be those who are seeking to establish a greater state of justice on earth, if they will allow themselves to come to the recognition that only God is just, therefore it is necessary to trust God and not trust the human concept of what justice would be. Human ideas about justice are very shortsighted. There is very little recognition of what would be included in the overall pattern of justice. Mankind has become so thoroughly self-centered that justice is considered almost entirely from the standpoint of human beings. The individual says, "I want justice--for me." Mankind says, "I want justice--for me." And it is all very self-centered, because mankind is not isolated from the rest of creation, whether we consider the rest of creation here on earth or whether we recognize that it extends much further. Man is not isolated. One can't have the human concept of justice and have justice for all. What seems to be just to one person causes an injustice to somebody else, so how utterly futile to try to produce justice on the basis of the human concept. Let it be according to the divine design and it will be right, for man's place in the cosmic scheme of things makes it impossible for anything that he does, or anything that happens to him, not to have an effect on everything else. What human mind is capable of encompassing all the areas which must be taken into account if justice is to prevail? Obviously it is beyond the capacity of any human mind, but it is not beyond the capacity of God. If we are willing to let it be in God's hands it will work correctly and justice will prevail.

It can be said that justice has prevailed from the divine standpoint. It has seemed like injustice to human beings because they were uninterested in the divine standpoint; they were simply interested in their own comfort, in their own satisfaction, in their own fulfilment according to their own ideas. On this basis everything seems most unjust, but it isn't, really, because the Law works. "As ye sow, so also shall ye reap." However, the fact that man is a part of the cosmos has been overlooked. Sowing and reaping, from the human standpoint, involve such a small scope. There may perhaps be a recognition, for instance, that if a person is governed by uncontrolled emotion he may die of a heart attack: cause, effect. But is that as far as it goes? Is just that one person involved in the situation? Of course not. What we do, what we experience, is a part of a vast whole. What man does not only affects his own personal experience, not only affects the experience of the whole human race, not only affects the experience of all creatures here on earth but extends beyond into the solar system and into the cosmos, because it's all one thing.

The story of the flood is the story of a violent worldwide cataclysmic event that occurred long ago. Why? Because the earth was filled with violence, because all flesh had corrupted His way. From the religious standpoint this is usually looked upon as divine judgment. In a sense I suppose that's true; it's the working of the Law anyway. But human beings can't lift a finger without affecting the cosmos. The flood, the story of the flood, describes the sinking of a continent, vast upheaval in the earth. Nowadays this would be described as an "act of God," as though God were responsible for producing the tribulation which human beings suffer, as though human beings were the only ones to suffer. These are "acts of God" in the sense that the working of God's power produces them, but man, being created on earth for a divine purpose, is the means by which God's power operates, as long as man exists. And if man, all flesh, has corrupted His way, then the effects of this corruption reach out and we have violent occurrences. It has happened in the past; it will happen again.

Man's point of triumph is also the point of disaster. We may recognize that there is what is conceived to be a state of triumph on earth in relationship to all the things that man has achieved. What tremendous things he has done. Man's triumph!--just like the concept of triumph that so many people had just before our Master's trial and crucifixion. How glorious the achievements of men are supposed to be; but disaster is at hand.

All flesh has corrupted His way on the earth, and the earth is consequently filled with violence. Many human beings don't like that violence. It is destructive and uncomfortable. "So let's try and have nonviolence but remain the same corrupt human beings." It can't be done. As long as flesh, under the influence of mind and heart, is corrupting the divine way, there will be violence, and there will be those things occurring on earth increasingly which are comparable to the occurrences at the time of the flood. There is an increasing awareness on the part of people everywhere, particularly in this country at the present time, of how quite a small event--the death of one person--can be the trigger for disaster. If we can see these things, we also have the advantage of knowing what can be done about it, of knowing the responsibility which we carry by reason of such vision as we have. It is easy to expect someone else to do something. In the world, in the general sense, I don't think there is too much faith in someone else being capable of doing anything anymore.

We have a basis for understanding how the world situation can be handled. God can handle it constructively provided that He has a means of working on earth, a means of extending divine control in the world. That means requires human beings. Human beings, intent on their own way, have been reluctant to offer themselves to this end. Very often they use as an excuse that they are too humble: it would be arrogance indeed to offer oneself to God so that one was forced thereby into the position of taking responsibility! But this is the only way that God can act: on the basis of those who take the responsibility for it. There is an inclination, even amongst those who have something of a vision in our own program, simply to look at somebody else and say, "Doesn't that person play a very vital part in our ministry! We need a few more like him." Well where are they? Of course, no two people are going to be the same or play the part in the same way. But if you see anyone playing a vital part, what does that engender in you? Does it merely cause you to say, "Oh look at that person. Aren't they doing wonderfully well?" Or does it cause you to say, "What in heaven's name am I doing?"--HEAVEN'S name!

We all carry that responsibility to the extent of our vision. We are all presumably interested in letting our vision increase. If we are, then we are also interested in letting our responsibility increase. We can't have one without the other. To whom much is given, of him much is expected. God's power is not a little thing. Working through corrupt man it has produced disaster over and over again, sometimes little disasters, sometimes colossal disasters. There is quite a remarkable one coming up. What would God's power do, working through those who have accepted the responsibility of providing control on earth, control for the working of God's power constructively? If the control isn't there it works destructively and we all suffer the consequences. But it's not only human beings who suffer the consequences; everything on the face of the earth, and extending out beyond the earth. How large is your vision? Are you still fiddling around in little petty patterns in a personal sense? Or do you begin to catch the vision of the real responsibility that rests upon those who genuinely give themselves to the divine purpose?

If one is to share divine purpose one must share divine vision; that is, the vision of God. The vision of God is not limited to one person; it is not limited to the whole human race. What do we see? How far does the vision go? Every word, every gesture, every action affects the cosmos. When they are divine, when you walk with God as Noah did, then your creative action is constructive. But if you deny God, betray God, follow out your own fancies, subject yourself to the things of man's world, you play your part in disaster--disaster to your fellows, disaster to all that lives and moves on the face of the earth. As we approach this Easter 1968, what more wonderful opportunity do we have to play our part in the cycles of the resurrection?--the resurrection of mankind, because the resurrection of all for which man is responsible is dependent upon the resurrection of mankind. And how shall that be brought to pass if there are not those individuals on the face of the earth who accept the responsibility as it relates to themselves? We all have this responsibility to the extent of our vision, and if we accept the responsibility, then we are deeply concerned that our vision should be greater.

So it is that we are present in this place to do what we're here to do, because we walk with God.

Gary, I just started transcribing this gem for the purposes of serving a young man I know who responded to a comment I made on facebook.  I have know him for a long time through my daughter Amy.  He loves to write and has an obvious talent for writing, a gift but has no awareness of the design.  He wrote something that was an expression of the sad, distructive state of affairs on earth and I know that he has a response to me so I offered him something I had by Uranda.

We are on the same wave length here as I went to my email and saw your offering and can only be so humbly thankful for what you offered today.  It is not an exaggeration to say that your offering is and will be a tremendous blessing again, right on point as it seems everyone is feeling the pinch! Thank you!

KEYS TO HEAVEN AND HELL

(Uranda at Sunrise Ranch, December 8, 1946)

This morning I have been thinking about the keys to heaven and hell.  Apparently it is something that is not generally recognized and known, but actually, the same keys unlock the door of either heaven or hell.  Any key that will unlock the door of hell will unlock the door of heaven. We might say that there is only one key.  There is a master key, but there are many individual keys, and when they are wrongly used the individual who opens the door finds that it swings into the corridors of hell as it is know on earth.  In the time that we have for our consideration, meditation, worship, this morning we cannot hope to consider all of these keys, but let us consider some of them.

The secret of the master key, of course is to be found in the operation of the One Law, and the force by which it functions is love.  Love for God opens the door to heaven:  love for the world and the things of the world opens the door to hell.  When we speak of love we find that the word is virtually endless in its meanings, and we recognize that one of the most obvious of those meanings relates to what we have called the feeling realm, the realm of emotions.  Whatever we may know intellectually has to be correlated with practical application in the function of daily living and backed by a corresponding correlation with the feeling realm within the individual if that intellectual knowledge is to have meaning.  What we may know to be the truth becomes effective in life only as that pattern of truth is the channel for the current of feeling that operates from within the feeling realm of the individual being.

Lovely to see this - again!

Tessa

Gary I am leaving for about 10 days off to finally see Amy Aranow in Seattle and I will followup on looking for the Service by Martin you were looking for when I get back but please forgive me I accidently deleted your email and could you tell me again what the name was.  Thanks Lynnette

Thank you Tessa and Lynnette,

A rather timely meditation apparently. But as Martin said "God is not willing that any should perish. However, if such an occurrence transpires, possibly the situation may be used to advantage, and our concern is that all things should be caused to work together to perfection in the fulfilment of divine purpose--the divine purpose, which would include the salvation of man."

And again, the word 'salvation' really pushes some buttons for many, but as we understand that it isn't 'salvation for' some distant heavern nor other where there is no personal responsibility, but rather 'salvation from him or herself' so that human beings might be about the business they incarnated on earth for!

No need to be afraid of 'salvation' then is there. In fact, once we're saved from ourselves, we can truly enjoy real fulfillment and creative use of our capacities right here on earth-NOW! Smile

(As outlined in my latest Blog on our possible role in blessing the recent unprecedented wave of earthquakes over the past 7 days of Jan 2010 - some 278 over Magnitude 5.0 in the Ring of Fire alone.)

                             Love always,
